Sophocles and wise words on hindsight

The Daily Prompt: Thanks, Hindsight
How is the year shaping up for you so far? Have your predictions come true, or did you have to face a curve ball or two?

I have no desire to suffer twice, in reality and then in retrospect.
— Sophocles, Oedipus Rex

With thanks to the Daily Prompt, for prompting me to look for this. A new favourite quote :) No looking back and wondering if, or what might have been. Life is too short.

Hindsight has never worked for me either … although re-living things unfortunately has been my burden … but I try to change that everyday. :)

Thanks for leaving a comment (x2!).
Re-living things can be nice. I guess the trick is to be able to only relive the nicer ones.
